SARAH PALIN, THE RIGHT CHOICE, the left wing attack.

John McCain and the Republican Party made the right choice. They chose a perfect running mate for Senator McCain. Sarah Palin is a perfect match filling the void that Senator McCain has in not having run or managed anything. The Democratic ticket lacks this key ingredient, but it’s too late to think about it now.

Senator McCain has the foreign policy experience as well as experience in economic matters, defense, and a multitude of experiences having served in the U.S. Senate for so many years. He also has wisdom that comes with age and experience. Complementing this experience is Sara Palin’s experience of managing a state government, dealing with hard nosed oil executives, and debunking corruption in her own party. These qualifications must scare the Democrats to death.

So, it should not come as a surprise that the left wing is attacking. Minor attack number one dealt with Sarah Palin’s less than two years as governor of a relatively insignificant state. Arkansas is a relatively insignificant state, as well, yet President Clinton will go down as the greatest president that ever lived, according to most Democrats. Liberals don’t realize that the President position is a management position. Managers make and live by their decisions; they also are bound by budgetary constraints. Senators, on the other hand, vote on and pass bills, walk away never to be heard from or responsible for the decision ever again. In short, governors tend to have the skills and experience required of presidents.

The latest vicious attack relates to the attack of the left on the Palin family. Though Senator Obama has rejected personal attacks on a candidate’s family, this does not stop many of his supporters in developing and promoting the most vicious of attacks. Sarah Palin’s seventeen year old daughter, Bristol, is pregnant. Bristol is choosing to have the child and marry the father. The left wing is trying to make this a dirty act and making Sarah Palin responsible for the acts of her teenage daughter. The left wing would prefer that the daughter chose an abortion, rather than being responsible and living with the consequences of her actions. They’d like to promote and support a promiscuous act rather than giving Bristol credit for being responsible for her actions and marry the father and raise the child.

To show the inconsistency, hypocrisy, and double standard, John Edwards recent infidelity and possible fathering a child out of wedlock, while married is totally ignored by the left. If anything, it is treated as what a person does in their personal life is private. Then we have President Clinton’s infidelities while he was President getting oral sex in the oval office. However, he defined this as a non sex act. None of these acts are concerns to left wingers, yet Sarah Palin is responsible for her daughter’s actions.

Thinking Americans should see through these nonsensical attacks. But will they? Democrats refuse to be confused by the facts. Hopefully, there are enough independent voters to make a difference in November.
